Seoul, Korea - 7 February2012: Linde Korea, a member of The Linde Group, will showcase its wide range of solutions for the semiconductor industry at SEMICON Korea 2012, a key regional semiconductor conference and exhibition taking place from 7 to 9 February 2012 at the COEX Convention and Exhibition Centre in Seoul.
Linde will feature its extensive product and services portfolio of specialty and electronics gases at its booth at SEMICON Korea 2012, including its capabilities in Total Gas Management fluorine (F2), nitrous oxide (N2O), helium, and its FireDeTec® system, at the event.

Since its establishment in Pohang in 1988, Linde Korea has continuously expanded its product and services portfolio as well as its footprint across the country. Linde Korea’s customers include major Korean conglomerates such as Samsung, LG, Posco, Honam Petrochemical, and Hynix.
The Linde Group has invested around USD 235 million (about KRW 270 billion / EUR 170 million) in South Korea over the past six years to install industrial gases facilities, contributing to the country’s industrial growth and economic success. Linde Korea officially opened its second air separation plant in Giheung, which has atotal investment value of USD 180 million (about KRW 206 billion / EUR 130 million).
The company is also constructing a new 5,200 tons per annum nitrous oxide gas production plant in the Asan Industrial Complex for Foreign Companies, which will be the largest such plant in Korea once it is completed. Linde Korea also operates industrial gas facilities in Dangjin and Chungnam Daesan Petrochemical Complex and two factories in Pohang.
