Seoul, Korea – 6 March 2012: On February 21, Moon-Soo Kim, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, visited the head office of The Linde Group, a world leading industrial gases and engineering company, in Munich, Germany. During the visit, Professor Dr Wolfgang Reitzle, CEO of Linde AG, and Sanjiv Lamba, Member of the Executive Board of Linde AG, welcomed Governor Kim and discussed Linde’s investments in Gyeonggi Province and future co-operation plans.
Governor Kim also visited Linde’s state-of-the-art hydrogen lab in Unterschleissheim, located 10 km north of Munich, where the Linde team provided him information on the latest hydrogen development for transport in Europe. The Linde Group also showcased to Governor Kim its leading technologies for safe use of hydrogen for mobility and refuelling for hydrogen-powered vehicles.
Hydrogen-powered vehicles enable zero emission driving and Linde is the leading vendor for gaseous and liquid hydrogen fuelling technology to the automotive industry. The company plays a significant role in promoting clean energy in transport and has plans to build a hydrogen-fuelling station system in Germany, paving way for sustainable mobility.
Sanjiv Lamba, Member of the Executive Board of Linde AG said, “I am delighted that The Linde Group was able to demonstrate its cutting-edge hydrogen technology for mobility to the Governor of Gyeonggi and his team.
